Über die Künstlerin
Eine begeisterte Ausstrahlung, ein ansteckendes Lachen, immer bereit Neues zu lernen und zu entdecken - das ist Ilana Schubert. Sie lebt mit der Einstellung, dass man fast alles lernen kann, wenn man nur will und hart dafür arbeitet - dranbleiben ist die Devise.
Die geborene Schweizerin lebt seit einiger Zeit mit ihrem Mann in Wien (A). Schon als Kind hat sie zeichnen und malen als grosse Leidenschaft und Begabung in ihrem Leben entdeckt.
Ilana ist im Industrial-Stil „zu Hause“, liebt alte Wände, Fabrikhallen, ausdrucksstarke Worte und witzige Cartoonfiguren. Einige dieser Elemente bringt sie auf der Leinwand zusammen. Vergilbte Papiere, Tusche, Russ, Acrylfarben und Eisen-Elemente gehören zu den von ihr bevorzugten Arbeitsmaterialien.
Ihren Stil hat sie in den letzen Jahren ständig weiterentwickelt und jedes ihrer Werke ist ein absolutes Unikat!
Sie malt übrigens auch gewünschte Objekte auf Bestellung.
About the artist
„Vibrant and charismatic“, „with a contagious smile“, “always ready to learn something new“, are the words that best sum up Ilana Schubert. She lives according to the motto that you can learn almost anything you want, if you have passion, work hard and stick to it.
The Swiss native currently lives with her husband in Vienna, Austria. Already as a child she discovered her love and talent for drawing and painting and spent many hours with it!
Ilana calls the „industrial style“ her home. She loves rust, old walls, factories, expressive words, cartoon figures and has a penchant for cars, especially vintage cars. Several of these elements come together on her canvas: Yellowed paper, ink, carbon black, acrylic paint, and iron elements are her favorite working materials.
Over the years she has honed her style and craft in her own studio. Every work is unique! Most exhibitions take place in Vienna (A) and in Switzerland.
